What is resurfacing?

How does laser skin resurfacing work?
Angie uses a laser to send pulsating beams of light to the areas of irregular skin. The lasers remove damaged skin one layer at a time, while revealing the healthier skin layers underneath and stimulating the growth of new collagen fibers. Using lasers allows Angie to target precise trouble spots, making laser skin resurfacing an ideal treatment for removing acne scars or warts.

How do laser treatments remove tattoos?
Lasers break up the ink in the skin, allowing the body’s immune system to remove it from the body. Tattoo removal may require multiple sessions spread out by a month between each session, from 2-12, depending on whether an amateur or professional tattoo artist applied the tattoo.
Can laser skin care remove spider veins?
Laser surgery is a noninvasive method of spider vein removal. Intense bursts of light are sent into the vein without the use of incisions or needles. For several months after laser spider vein treatments, the spider vein will fade and disappear although new spider veins could develop in the treated areas.
How does laser hair removal work?
High-heat lasers heat and damage hair follicles to prevent new hair from growing in the treatment areas. Removing unwanted hair usually requires between two and six treatments.
Is laser hair removal permanent?
Lasers destroy hair follicles, and the production of hair is temporarily disabled. The hair is removed for several months, much longer-lasting than with shaving or waxing, but eventually, the hair will grow back. When hair grows back after laser hair removal treatments, it is lighter, finer, and fewer in number.
